Smith, Amy Grant, Mandisa, Danny Gokey, Casting Crowns and others. He has 15 studio albums under his belt, the latest released in 2023, a double album - MY STORY YOUR GLORY. Composed of 22 tracks, the first part of the double album, MY STORY, embodies the countless stories fans have shared with the songwriter over the years as well as personal experiences and the second part, YOUR GLORY, marks his first official Gospel worship album. First is anyone is wondering what Matth Westa is that is Mandisa's nickname for Matthew she calls him a black girl in a white boy's body and Matth Westa is her black girl name for him. (heard that on klove thought it was funny)anyway I cannot get enough of his song "More" it is definately the most powerful example of God's Love ever put into song i listen to it at least 5 times a day!!!!

I started listening to Contemporary Christian music about a year ago and since then, one of my favorite artists has been Matthew West. His songs are very inspiring, and the lyrics to his songs are ones that we can compare to our own lives as well.

Matthew West is one of the few artists that pick up speed and quality as they continue to write songs. Some artists burn out after the first couple of albums but Matthew West continues to pour himself into his music and it shows.
