Orlando-born singer and self-taught instrumentalist, Byron "Mr. Talkbox" Chambers’ musical career began in his father's Gospel group at the age of five. Growing up in a musical household, Byron was introduced to various genre's of music. He listened to everything from Gospel to Jazz. However, there was one particular sound that caught his heart: The Talkbox. He heard it used by R&B Funk Master artist, Roger Troutman and he immediately wanted to play it himself for God.
And his journey began…
Byron performed and toured with great Gospel artists like Jonathan Butler, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Fred Hammond, Ce Ce Winans, Kurt Carr and Bishop T.D. Jakes, to name just a few. From there, he was offered a position playing keys with mega-pop band, *NSYNC and his career catapulted. Over the years, he has toured and performed with the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, O-Town, Gloria Estefan, Jordan Knight and appeared on shows such as Saturday Night Live, The View, The Radio City Music Awards, Nickelodeon's Teen Choice Awards, Walt Disney's Very Merry Christmas Parade (ABC), The N'SYNC "Aint No Stoppin' Us Now" Pay-per- view special, MTV's TRL, Good Morning America, E True Hollywood Stories (N'SYNC), the Loreal Summer Music Mania, and Nickelodeon's The Big Help.
While Byron was honored for such amazing opportunities, he felt that a career on the road and in the spotlight was starting to take its toll and his life was heading in a direction he didn’t like. He decided to step away from *NSYNC and focus more time on his wife and family.
He started working with TobyMac and was featured on the GRAMMY-nominated, Dove Award-winning albums Welcome To Diverse City and Portable Sounds. Additionally, he was writing, co-writing, arranging and doing guest spots for artists like O-Town, Group 1 Crew, Martha Munizzi and many others. He took a position playing drums for Group 1 Crew and working with Top 3 American Idol finalist Danny Gokey.
Still, he didn’t feel like he was where he was supposed to be. God began dealing with Byron spiritually concerning his gifts.
Byron explains, “God told me at the height of my blossoming career to leave the road and dedicate my life to him, and he would bless my music to minister to the world." In 2004 he recorded and released his debut album, My Testimony, which sold in over 17 different countries, making him one of the top sellers on CDBaby.com. Byron also became a member of TobyMac’s Diverse City Band while still continuing his solo career.
Byron has a true testimony to share. His life, experiences, and choices he's made on this journey have paved the way for healing and deliverance of others.

Romans 8:28 is my all-time favorite verse. It gives us a promise and hope that all things happening to us -- good or bad -- when added up, will work together for good to those who love the Lord. I loved your song and testimony. Keep on blessing others through your ministry!
