Tenth Avenue North's debut album
Over And Underneath officially went gold today, eight years after its release. The record, which has now sold over 500,000 copies, first introduced us to the band's signature lyrical depth and pop sounds in 2008 and is responsible for giving us fan-favorite songs "By Your Side," "Love Is Here," "Hold My Heart" and "Times."
The band
posted on Instagram this afternoon that their record label had just Skyped them to give them the good news. Lead singer Mike Donehey took to
social media to celebrate. "GOLD. Can't even believe it! Yes it took 8 years but still!!! 500,000 of these babies are out circulating the world. HUUUUUGE thank you to all of you bought this collection of songs. So so honored," he wrote.
