On Facebook, lead singer Joseph Rojas described the album as "a cross between Shattered Life and Picking Up The Pieces with some Take Everything Mixed in." He also confirmed that the album will feature the same blend of worship and rock that the band is known for, and that fans can expect to hear some of the new music soon.
Set to release in April of 2017, Found is Seventh Day Slumber's first full length release in over three years. It follows the release of their Redline EP in fall of 2015. The band has been sharing updates through the writing process on both their band facebook page and their personal pages, giving fans a glimpse of writing sessions with collaborators like veteran songwriters Benji Cowart and Daniel Doss and up-and-coming southern rock group Consumed by Fire. Some initial track names revealed through social media include "My Last Words," "Me Because of You" and the title track "Found."
The band also announced the details of the 2017 leg of their City RockFest Tour this week. The tour, which takes place from February to May next year, features some of the hottest names in Christian rock, including Disciple, Project 86, Decyfer Down, Spoken, Random Hero and Scarlet White.
