RED announced via their facebook page on June 27 that their career album sales has surpassed 1.1 million units sold.
In the online post, the band gave the credit to their fans, saying "Thanks to everyone that made this possible including the BEST fans in Rock and Roll...The REDNATION!!! We couldn't have done it without you."
This is an impressive milestone for the hard rock group, an achievement earned by their four albums
End of Silence (2006),
Innocence and Instinct (2009),
Until We Have Faces (2011), and
Release the Panic (2013). The accolade also serves to bolster the band through the process of recording their fifth studio album, a process the band has been pursuing in Nashville, TN with producer Rob Graves.
The band's busy year will continue through August with their tour with Demon Hunter, the Run and Escape tour. The trend of non-stop motion and a work ethic dedicated to bringing the best possible musical material both on stage and in the studio can be credited for the band's continually building momentum.
