Produced by her husband Nick Baumhardt (Stellar Kart, FM Static, Thousand Foot Krutch) in his home studio in Nashville, The Road is a refreshing new take on what we’ve grown to expect when we listen to the voice of Superchick's Tricia Brock. This project is a collection of songs meant to breathe hope and to inspire new life into a battling heart. “We may be broken, but we’re never destroyed,” the album’s lyrics proclaim. Tricia wants to share that at times the listener may feel without hope, but there’s no need to fear. Hope, refuge and strength are always with us when we are with God.
The Road features new versions of the popular songs “Always” and “Jesus I Am Resting, Resting,” in addition to new songs of worship penned from moments deep within Tricia’s personal journal. The Road is an open window into the intimacy of her heart.

Fantastic New Album| Posted June 03, 2011
I love the song "You are my Shepard". From the first moment I heard it on the radio. All of the songs on this album are great! I'm looking forward to its release and adding it to my music collection! Will have to get the sheet music for some of the songs to sing them in church.

Way to go Tricia!!| Posted June 03, 2011
I really like Tricia's new single. I love the way she can take the old hymn and make it something releveant to today's audience. The words are powerful and it is a great song to put you in a worship mood. Also, Tricia is an amazingly talented artist and singer and it is cool that she gets to try something new and go it alone with the support of her band. Great work, girl!!!
Listening right now!| Posted June 02, 2011
I'm listening to your album as I write this review and so far I have nothing but great things to say about it -- I like the sound, your voice sounds incredible. The album flows nicely, which is a big plus for me because not every album can do that so flawlessly. The album is just amazing, it glorifies God perfectly, and for that -- I thank you Tricia!
The Road| Posted June 01, 2011
I enjoyed listening to this release from Tricia and the main thing that stuck with me throughout was the strong focus on worship and that it was Christ centered. This was very different from the Superchick albums I have heard and I thought Tricia's voice complemented the music very well.
Awesome Sound| Posted May 31, 2011
Love Tricia Brock's sound, and her words are clear enough to understand, it gets your attention, and pulls you in ready to worship our lord! Definetly worth the listen..I will be adding her music when it becomes available!
A wonderful time of Worship| Posted May 31, 2011
I really enjoyed it. I was hoping it would be along the sound of some of her Superchick stuff (Breathe & Crawl), I love the Cello and sweet purity of her voice and I was not disappointed. My favorites on this album are: You are My Shepherd, You Hear, Broken for Love's Sake, Jesus I am Resting, Resting. I really love her version of an old hymn. It really brought the hymn to life :)
Delighted| Posted May 31, 2011
When Superchick did a concert in Winnipeg last month, we were delighted to a treat when Tricia performed "You Are my Shepherd". After listing to this album I can't help but feel a little refreshed. This is an amazing album and God has truly blessed her with much talent.
Tricia's a SUPERCHICK!| Posted May 31, 2011
I am already excited for this album to come out in stores. From the first few notes of the first song, I knew that it would be a new favorite almost immediately. The style makes me think of acoustic worship Superchick, but also something fresh and all its own. It may not be super catchy pop, but it is definitely something you will hear in your head. On June 7, buy it!! It's a choice you definitely won't regret!
