The band's evolution away from post-grunge toward adult alternative that began on Iris to Iris continues on this disc. The self-titled effort suggests that the band, now down to a trio and with a new record label, has found its own niche. For the most part this is the case, with a bigger yet catchier sound that poses a surprisingly appropriate alternative to emo-rock. Step by step, Building 429 have developed into one of the Christian scene's most accessible rock outfits, with tracks like "Bring Me Back," "Erase," and "End of Me" contributing to the end result.

This appears to be a smaller "best of" release for B429...the kind that are often seen in the "budget" sections. I would recommend the "Glory Defined: Best of" release by the band over this one due to the number of tracks. This release is good but misses some key songs that the other release includes.
