This album introduced me to Kirk Franklin. It was Up above my head that got me to love the album. The hype beat in the songs on this album were just amazing, but Up above my head led me to worship................... Great album Kirk and the Nu nation.

This contemporary gospel release is very soulful and heartfelt. A great collection of worship songs that focus on glorifying Christ from beginning to end. The performances are varied and all exceptionally well done, featuring some very talented and gifted musicians and vocalists. I recommend this one for anyone who enjoys contemporary gospel.
