While Life In Your Way have never been one to shy away from their faith, The Kingdom of God puts it front and center for everyone to see. With lyrics like “He doesn’t see what I see, He doesn’t see what you see. He sees my destiny and calls me to be a son” from the For The Fallen Dreams-esque track “Who I Am”, and classic lines like “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as in heaven” (“The Healer), Life In Your Way make no distinctions between spiritual and religious. However, fitting into the concept of Kingdoms, The Kingdom of God is undoubtedly one of the most well written pieces Life In Your Way have put together as a band. Sacrificing much of the edge that Darkness had, The Kingdom of God goes all out with the uplifting chorus’ of redemption, complete with the ‘oohs and ahhs’. Trading an equal amount between screamed and clean vocals, Life In Your Way make their message one hundred percent clear for everyone to hear, and present it in such a genuine way that one cannot help but sing the anthems back.
