In the mode of other next generation singer-songwriters like John Mayer and Jason Mraz, Matthew West has built a solid following for his music with incessant touring of every campus, coffeehouse, or church that he could find on a map.
On his major label debut on Universal South, Happy, Matthew fuses his independent artistic credibility with a sound that is irresistible to the masses.

I've only heard "More" and it was a great song, but the cover art? Where are these people sitting in, a bathroom stall? I'm not sure what the picture has to do with the title either. Who's happy to be hidden?

I really enjoyed the C.D. The songs are well written and put me in a great mood, especially the title song, "Happy", and "The End". Matthew West has an incredible song writing ability and I love the message of his songs. I would recomend this.

I love this album so much. When I heard the song "More" on the radio for the first time, I instantly became a Matthew West fan. I saw him in concert and heard the rest of the songs, and I absolutely had to buy the CD. I don't regret the purchase one bit. He is an awesome singer/songwriter, and one of my favorite artists.

this CD makes me happy :D which i think is the purpose of the album, lol. Love every song on the CD except "The Lie" i like the music and the message of it, but it's kinda cheesy, other than that great album. My favorite song on the album is probably "Happy".
