Driven by the collective creative synergy of Matt Langston (vocals, guitar), Caleb Satterfield (bass), Jonathan Stephens (drums) and the Rockbot (keys, rude electronic noises), Eleventyseven's Galactic Conquest pushes further into that same musical arena, adding a new dance pop sub-current to the pop punk of their first effort. The adventurous sonic outlook is evident in songs like the hyper-danceable "Love In Your Arms" (written "as a huge pick-me-up for anyone having a bad day, month, or life"), the hauntingly melodic "It's Beautiful," (born out of Langston's realization that he could "stop striving to be close to God and just accept that I am close to Him"), and the chronically upbeat "Happiness" (a song about breaking up with "the most fickle girlfriend of all: Happiness").

I actually liked this?| Posted September 26, 2007
I started listening to it and fully expected it to suck. But the beats were catchy and I loved electronica sound throughout. It is among my favorite punk albums ever.

Wooow. I never knew I'd actually like anything that includes techno, but I found myself loving every bit of this CD. Eleventyseven did everything possible to make this CD irresistable. I thought they did a great job mixing punk and techno, but they also did a really nice acoustic with It's Beautiful. Altogether, and amazing CD, highly recommended.

Eleventyseven's first album was always stuck in my head, so I got this cd when it first came out. Their songs are so catchy and fun to listen to. I listen to the cd just about everyday since it came out, and haven't gotten tired of it yet.
This is Awesome!!!| Posted September 20, 2007
The new Eleventyseven CD is their best work so far. The song "Feel ok" is the prime of the CD. The entire CD is worth playing over and over again. The only downfall is the 2 useless tracks, that tell you when it begins and starts. They need to be replaced by some real music. Otherwise, they wrote a good album.
I can't wait for the release!| Posted August 21, 2007
Eleventyseven is a very high energy, funky group of dudes that are taking a stand for God using their music. The band has posted a few of this cd's songs on their myspace, and let me be the first to tell you that they sound amazing. If you have not picked up Eleventyseven's first cd (and the land of fake believe) i would highly reccomend that you do so as soon as possible.
