Shooting Star was my turning point. My sister always liked Owl City from the beginning of his career as an artist. I, on the opther hand, had a different opinion. I was so stuck in my ways and I only listened to a certain type of music that I naver gave him a chance. However, I finally heard this song on Air1 and took a liking to it. My sister told me he sang it and I was floored that I actually liked something by him! It was so upbeat and encouraging! I've been more open to listening to his music now and you're sure to see a review on another one of his albums by me soon!

Some have complained that this new Owl City EP is too much of a departure from the original style. I dissagree. It's an awesome mix of great lyrics and upbeat music. It's great to see an artist mature, change, try new things. Isn't that what artistry is all about? I usually download one or two songs from a release. Not this time. Taking the EP now and looking forward to the rest of the CD. Enjoy!
