With over 5 million album sales, 19 #1 radio singles, 4 Grammy nominations, and one of Christian music's most captivating live shows, Newsboys return this fall with their new studio album devotion. Following the acclaim of the RIAA Gold-certified, Adoration: The Worship Album - the fastest selling record of their career, Devotion picks up where Adoration ended, continuing the worship experience with songs including "Presence", "Strong Tower", and more. On devotion, Newsboys embrace the congregational and community aspects of worship, and enlisted a true community of artists to help create the album - with guest appearances and collaborations with Rebecca St. James, Tim Hughes, Delirious' Stu G. and more.

A Worse Newsboys Album| Posted September 03, 2007
Why not follow a bad effort with a worse one? Why not abandon all early fans? Why not make an album that's just made for the pathetic radio crowd? That's what they did. "Presence" is just as bad as "Amazing Love" and song like "Blessed Be Your Name" are downright pathetic covers, and some of the worst in the industry.
Overall, boycott this sad effort from the Newsboys. It's a truly bad album with no substance.
Newsboys| Posted February 04, 2012
I don't really care for this album. The Newsboys are usually great with their clever lyrics and catchy tunes but they're not too great with worship stuff. This album was pretty much a sellout. It sounds like they were making it more for the audience and less for God.
Great| Posted May 05, 2011
A great collection of worship songs. This is one of those releases that I didn't care for as much upon first listen, but after hearing it a time or two it really grew on me and now I like all the songs. It's a little different than the "disco" sound I had become accustomed to from the Newsboys and is more acoustic and rock oriented. A great addition to their collection of releases.
great album| Posted March 19, 2011
"when the tears fall" is probably in my top 5 of favorite newsboys songs. all of the songs on devotion are good though.

This album is uplifting without being "preachy". Each song holds its own with a contemporary sound/beat. A good variety of fun, soulfulness and inspiration. Wonderful to listen to from beginning to end!
Lackluster.| Posted December 22, 2008
This album is just lackluster compared to the Newsboys pop sound. The album doesn't compare to Adoration at all and the music just all sounds the same. The only song I really enjoyed was the beautiful duet with Rebecca St. James on "Blessed Be Your Name".
I love these guys!| Posted December 17, 2008
They, in my opinion, have never made a bad album! They are just very blessed guys doing what God has called them to do, and Im glad they are! "Devotion" is my favorite on this CD, but all are GREAT!

It's No Adoration But It Still Works| Posted January 27, 2008
The 2nd album in the 3 album worship trilogy from the Newsboys is not as good as Adoration was but it's still a good worship album.
