Jaci Velasquez took the world by storm in 1996 with the debut of her platinum-selling album, Heavenly Place, distinguishing her as the fastest-selling solo debut recording artist in the Christian genre. Jaci also established herself as a beloved Latin artist and has toured all over the world in support of her award-winning Spanish albums. Other successes involve cuts in successful soundtracks, a role as an international spokesperson, and a movie career. As an appreciation to her ever-evolving career, On My Knees: The Best Of Jaci Velasquez is a 17-song career retrospective, but most importantly, an ode to this extraordinary and multi-faceted individual.

Not the best arrangement...| Posted July 06, 2012
This album is OK...it hits the "biggies" like "On My Knees" and "God So Loved" and it is not to have "I Will Rest in You" and "God Loves You"--which aren't on Jaci's solo albums...however, I don't like the arrangement of songs--especially starting off with 3 ballads in a row. Just buy Jaci's CDs or download mp3s of your choosing and skip this "best of."
pretty good mix !| Posted October 08, 2008
i love jaci velasquez!! she is a classic christian artist. Though old stuff doesn't even come close to how good her newer songs are , all of her music is good. !!!!!!!!
Okay Best of Album| Posted December 11, 2007
For over a decade, Christian music phenomenon Jaci Velasquez has been singing her way to fans hearts all across the globe. With 2 Gold albums, a Platinum album, numerous Latin Grammy and Dove Award Nominations and 16 No 1 hits, does her newest Greatest Hits album serve up the "best" with only 1 disc, or should it have had 2?
Opening with the moving ballad, "On My Knees", you can't help but worship God in this beautiful song. The Spanish flavored "Un Lugar Celestial" and the soft "Imagine Me Without You", lead into the upbeat and fun "Every Time I Fall". The next track is the beautiful "God So Loved", which is based off of the Bible verse John 3;16.
While her first three albums are represented here with around 3 to 5 songs, her latest albums, Unspoken and Beauty Has Grace are distastefully shunned, with only 1 from each record. Where's Unspoken's biggest hits like "You re My God" and "Jesus Is". Or Beauty Has Grace's hits "Tonight" and "With All My Soul". That's probably one of the worst aspects of the album: an extreme lack of hits. Where is "Flower In the Rain" or "Glory" or "Crystal Clear".
The album also fails to show off any new songs. Sure, there's some compilation songs like, "I Will Rest In You" and "God Loves You", but no new material is present.
While, On My Knees definitely shows off some of Jaci's biggest hits, it also fails to include some of her best know songs. This project should have been, hands down, a 2 Disc collection. But, I guess you can't please everyone.
