Something Like Fiction: an aptly titled collection of music that never really became a finished product. These 22 songs show the progression of Wavorly, a band that grew along with the music they created; not only in ways of musical expression, but both personally and spiritually as well. Ranging from "If Only You Were Mine," one of the last songs written before their breakup in late 2012, to "Well, You've Got My Attention," one of the first songs written by a small Mississippi band known as Freshmen15 (that would later blossom into the internationally recognized Wavorly) in 2005, this album represents the full spectrum of a career that spanned the better part of the early 2000s. None of these songs were ever formally recorded, mixed, or mastered, but only exist as b-sides and demos. This is a "behind the scenes" glimpse into the life and times of 8 brothers that wanted to reach the world with a message of hope in love through music. These are the songs that came out of trials, tribulations, victories and celebrations. This is the lost chapter of the story of Wavorly, and it is truly something like fiction.

Wavorly may be gone but the music they created will live on. This compilation of songs perfectly encapsulate the band's journey over time. The album is presented in reverse chronology starting out with the very last song they recorded and ends with a demo back when they were still known as Freshmen15. Something Like Fiction is a compilation album that celebrates the life of Wavorly and takes the listener on a journey of the band's life and ever changing styles.
