What was your name
We've heard the scripture " We have entertained angels unaware" So when we saw a homeless woman sitting on the side of the road, in a make shift camp, my wife and daughter Ilya and I wanted to talk with her and share the love of God. Although it could have been us getting the sharing from God, He makes you think of the " what ifs" or the "Who are you"
If you died today
It makes you think what do people say about you or what will they say when you're gone. Are we truthful of who we are, even to ourselves.
Resting in your love
This was my first Christian song written in 1977. After being told” Rock&Roll” was of the devil, and God only listened to Country and Blue Grass, I was hungry to play something God would except as worship to Him. I wanted to inspire people how God had changed my life. This was my attempt at country boy Franki.
Woe
I found myself in a place of brokenness, undone and abandoned to the realization of my weakness. In prayer I was flat out on the floor, wet with tears and sweat. In my spirit I could hear WOE is me a man on unclean lips. “ I am undone in your presents Lord” When I finally got up off the floor I penned this song. The Lord loves us in this place of ” Woe” I hope this is a place you visit in your worship.
They That Mourn
The song that Wendy Stole… Franki likes to say “ who can mess with the author of our lives?” When Jesus said “ Verily Verily Blessed are they that mourn” I had to put music to it. My wife and harmony Wendy heard me working on it and said “ I want that song to sing” I didn’t feel bad letting her have it. Wendy says about the song: The idea of a positive outcome from a blues song really spoke to me. We all suffer the blues at some point in our lives. Jesus is there to tell us it’s ok and if you hang onto me, I will bless you.
Righteous Rockin
If “Rock&Roll” was of the devil… I thought as a new Christian, I better make sure my songs were saved… So Righteous Rockin’ and Holy Rollin’ got the church dancing and actually made Christians smile…
Shakin
It wouldn’t be Rock&Roll if you spelt it Shaking… just a thought. There is nothing we can trust or depend on, that is not subject to the Shaking of God. It’s His way of settling the matter of our lives. Just like an earth quake” You keep shaking the foundations of my life Lord and everything that keeps me from you” But like the song says “ He keeps turning us back, back ,back to the right and keeps us from the wrong” …Sometimes Grace Mercy and Love are His way of Shakin’ … us!

How do you sing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus with the blues? How do you long for your Husband as a bride for her husband’s return without feeling the blues? If Jesus did write a song in modern day expression of this Love relationship … Darlin’ is you!

Like John the Baptist was an announcer of the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world and warn the people of the day to repent. If John wrote a song … I can imagine it as a war cry in the spirit of God to those that needed to hear it’s urgent beckon and warning . Are we ready to face Jesus… Prepare!

Precious
The love between God the creator and His beloved, His Creation is eternal. He loved us first, He forgave us and even gave us a sacrifice for our sin. It’s about loving Him back with all we have.
Jealous
Take a deep breathe, hold it in for ever, cuz your not guaranteed another… God is Jealous for our Love toward Him. Even though we are so selfish , He longs to restore a love relationship with us.
