Multiple Stellar Award-winner, Grammy-nominee, and perennial gospel music favorite, Marvin Sapp, has succeeded in establishing himself as one of the most recognizable voices in gospel music. Sapp declared himself "not a singer who can preach, but rather a preacher who just happens to sing," and he does both with the case of Thirsty. For Thirsty, Sapp teamed up with producers Aaron Lindsey, Myron Butler, his choir Levi, and New Breed. The cd was recorded live, before a capacity crowd.

Praising God In Advance| Posted November 27, 2007
There is sooo much to say about this song, no about this whole cd. It has blessed me beyond belief. I was sitting going through the whole cd, and all of a sudden it went from listening for enjoyment to praising God! I was worshipping HIM, because undoubtly he has been more than enough for me. Marvin Sapp has been an amazing inspiration for me, he not only show his great voice, but he is a true worshipper!!! I also like "Worshipper in Me", don't we all need to bring out that in ourselves. This cd has bless me frm the beginning to the end. If you don't have it I advise the purchase, I don't regret I did!! Be Blessed!!
Thirsty for the Worship| Posted September 14, 2007
This project is wonderful. I'm a fan of Marvin's music and especially Aaron Lindsey's production work. Shout Unto God, Power, Thirsty, and Rivers Flow are wonderful songs for use in ministry.
Thirsty| Posted September 10, 2007
The title just bout sums it up...Marvin Sapp gives us another thought provoking message. The world is so hungry and thirsty for someting, but it either doesn't want God or they don't realize that He is the only one who will give you water so you'll never thirst again. Tracks 5 and 6 are another testimony of how to live out our lives. We should praise God BEFORE the outcome and not when the outcome comes (I know, I know). The title track "Thirsty" is right on point. There's not much to say about this album except that it speaks to my soul. This album whether with it's bumpin' beats or sweet melodies, will have you coming back for more to drink. God is an amazing God!
Never Would Have Made It| Posted August 27, 2007
His song "Never Would have made it" is hot. It is a blessing to all that hear it. This song will make you Praise the Lord wherever you are when you hear it. I have not heard the whole album but this song alone make me give the album 5 stars.
