"Between Wind and Water" is a nautical term used to describe "the part of a ship’s side or bottom which is frequently brought above water by the rolling of the ship, or fluctuation of the water’s surface. Hence, colloquially, the vulnerable part or point of anything." And that's really what the heart is, the most vulnerable part.
Additionally, the heart made vulnerable before God is what worship is all about. These songs reflect and reinforce this metaphor and are intended to express the journey of the heart by way of life's open and adventurous seas through worship.
