He's written hit songs, won numerous music awards and seen critical acclaim during his 10 years as a member of the folk-rock group Caedmon's Call. Now Derek Webb offers his debut solo album She Must and Shall Go Free. Musically this album gives a nod to the earlier days of Caedmon's while carving a distinctive style all his own. Lyrically this album shows Derek's fresh affection for the church in a way that is both soundly scriptural and spiritually provocative.

Must-have Derek Webb| Posted November 19, 2007
Any Christian music fan should check out this debut album by Derek Webb. I've been a fan of Derek's for over 10 years going back to Caedmon's Call and since "She Must and Shall Go Free", I've been an even bigger fan. The title song, "Nobody Loves Me", "The Church", "Wedding Dress" and one of my all-time favorite songs "Lover" are all can't miss songs and this is one of my favorite albums ever.
