Found in Far Away Places is the upcoming seventh studio album by American melodic metalcore band August Burns Red. "The Wake" was the first song to be released from the album. The album title was taken from a lyric in "Majoring in the Minors". In an interview with Outburn, guitarist JB Brubaker stated that the song was about touring all over the world and experiencing new things, making them the band they are today.

Just a warning to listeners: The 3rd song on this album is about a man "coming out" to his friends/family and how hard that must've been for him. They explained this in their album commentary unashamedly. A portion of the lyrics are "...I'm standing firm. It's who I am...". But the Bible says to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. I don't think the Bible ever says to be happy with who we are. I should want to be like Him, not like me. Very disappointing from a band professing Christ.
