Since Tristin Roberts last project back in 2009 his life has been busy. Getting married, moving to Texas, then to Oregon where he now lives with his wife serving the local church of Crossridge Church in Sherwood Oregon. Over the past few years Roberts has spent his time writing songs for the local church, while gathering with other musicians like Anthony Skinner, Chris McClarney, Steve Clark and Matthew Reed to help his songwriting skills. The songs that have come out of these songwriting experiences are songs of redemption, hope and love of our father. This new project "Surprising Hope" encompasses all these topics. Roberts desire to see the church passionately seek the the risen Savior is evident in these songs. The whole project is to encourage the listener that there is always hope through all the tears and sorrows, and through all the guilt and shame.
