Come Now Sleep [edit]
by As Cities Burn | Genre: Pop/Rock | Release Date: August 14, 2007

As Cities Burn was forged from the remnants of several local south Louisiana bands. The band quickly became known and recognized on the Baton Rouge scene for their passionate and energetic live show. With the addition of a new drummer, the summer of 2003 saw the completed band dropping out of college indefinitely. Each traded in their jobs and time with their girlfriends for a life in a van, in order to focus on spending as much time on the road as possible.

Fantastic. | Posted June 12, 2009
Really a solid album. There lyrics are great and so is the sound. Their style is outstanding and they really seem to know what they are doing. Riveting.

This was a great Cd. I enjoy listening to Tooth & Nail artists. I love "Contact" and "Empire" but the whole Cd is phonomenal. This Cd is way better than the first Cd though.

come, now buy | Posted July 10, 2008
wow...this was one of my favorite albums when i bought it, it has an intense sense of reality in its lyrics. with the brutal words from "this is it" and the hopeful song, "our world is grey" i feel that this was their riskiest but worthiest venture yet...i give it four and a half stars only because at points it was repetitive...but everything else is perfect

I loved Son I Loved You At Your Darkest, but i love Come Now Sleep even more....lol....i first heard it on a Solid State sampler with The Hoard, and really liked it...and i was sold with Empire...which is among my top ten favorite songs ever right now....the sound is slightly more mature, and i'm really liking the vocals, like even more than the last which is saying a lot, this time around. job well done.
