Classic Worship Album!| Posted July 14, 2008
I've loved Third Day ever since their self-titled debut album over 10 years ago. Love Song, Forever, Thief and Consuming Fire are all completely biblical, catchy and Third Day pioneered a new sound in Christian music, Southern Christian Rock. You can hear their influence in Big Daddy Weave, NEEDTOBREATHE, Jackson Waters and DecembeRadio, all favorite bands of mine.
Offerings was part of the big worship music wave of the early 2000's and one of the best in my opinion. Third Day originals like Your Love Oh Lord, based on Psalm 36 and one of my favorite songs of all-time, along with King of Glory and My Hope Is You make this album a 'can't miss' and one of the classic worship albums ever. To quote Mac Powell from the album: "When you came here tonight to see a Third Day show, and we all gather here tonight in the name of Jesus, we're going to have a church service tonight".

This album was meant to be a great worship album, and that's what I think it is! King of Glory, Your Love oh Lord, and My Hope is You are all my favorites. And in Third Day syle- they had to throw in one rock song, Consuming Fire, which I also love!

Third Day continues to bring worship music to a whole new level! They have reached a whole new audience with their worship albums and continue to be one of the best Christian music bands of all time. They stay true to God and never try to "dumb" down their lyrics. Love them!

I think that the album was okay.
But it gave a good message.
I think the singer is good and
has a very talented voice.
Third Day also has good guitar
players that can really rock.
They also have a good drummer.
I think they need to make a kind of
rock album. Not too rocky but not to
not rocky. Overall I think it was an okay
album.

Average worship album. Nothing too great. The best would be "King of Glory" and "Your Love oh Lord". Also, another good song is "agnes dei" but that I like other versions of the songs better and the radio edit versions of third day's version is better but you cant get it anywhere.

This one was fantastic (although I liked the second one better)--they are truly phenomenal (spelling?) worship leaders.
