MP Christmas EP short and sweet | Posted February 04, 2021
Matthew Parker gives his fans a little bit of Christmas cheer with this 3 (and a half) song album. Parker kicks things off with a funny, but very catchy vibe in Mistletoe Meltdown. He continues with a speedy rendition of a Christmas classic, The 12 Days of Christmas (How It Should Be), because who doesn't want to shorten that seemingly never-ending Christmas tune? Next Parker drops some heavy electronic vibes with his hard-hitting jam Carol Of The Bells (If It Were Made By a Cyborg Santa) This song opens up like many renditions of this classic, but quickly transitions to a EDM fan's paradise with an incredible beat and epic electronic sounds. Finally this EP ends with a reverent and beautiful track titled Kindle, which is my personal favorite off this album. Overall, this EP is a great addition to any EDM fanatic's holiday playlist.

Funny and Creative Christmas Album | Posted July 31, 2020
This album is short but sweet. The best track is "Mistletoe Meltdown"- one of the funniest Christmas songs ever made! The music is really good, the lyrics hysterical and the idea creative. If you like KJ-52's goofier tracks, this is going to be another song you'll enjoy! The music video is pretty good... but it would have come across as even funnier if it had used a kid the right age instead of grown Matthew Parker playing his younger self. The music on Carol of the Bells is really good, and currently second only to the Capital King's one for my favorite version of this song. The other two are pretty good Christmas songs as well. Overall a fun album for Christmas time, or a Christmasy mood.
