Come Alive with This New Worship EP| Posted August 16, 2020
What You Need To Know All Nations Music is a worship collective made up of people stemming from different chapters of the All Nations Worship Assembly, a multi-location church based out of Chicago, Illinois. The level of talent and excellence in All Nations' various churches across the country is top-notch while their passion for Christ is strong. Come Alive is their newest EP and features the likes of Miranda Curtis, Chandler Moore, Candy West, and Cristabel Clack.
What it Sounds Like This EP has options for all listeners: songs for worship teams and, more importantly, songs for personal worship. There are songs that have a multiracial appeal while maintaining that Gospel edge. Having former American Idol contestant Cristabel Clack lead the first part of a song and having gospel artist Candy West finish it is like having two great hitters batting back to back in an inning of baseball. That’s actually what happens with “Glory Rise.” Cristabel leads off wonderfully during the verse and chorus. Then, Candy takes over to drive it home as only she can do so. She leads the background singers as they sing, “For He is good/His mercy endureth forever.” Artist Tim Reddick leads the reggae-tinged, “That Great Name.” As they sing about bowing down to honor God, I can just imagine how charged the place was the night they recorded the album.
Spiritual Highlights “Come what may You’re worthy of glory/Come what may You’re worthy of praise/All we are glory’s reflection” Resonating lyrics that serve to show that we owe everything to God as we are a reflection of His goodness. "Bless Your Name” is a beautiful ode to God and a promise to praise Him throughout life during any season. Singer Chandler Moore puts his stamp on this song—acoustic worship meets gospel harmony—to create a wonderful marriage of styles. Bless Your Name” is the truth and will of God that warrant several listens.
Best Song Chandler Moore and Pastor Matthew Stevenson lead "Yahweh," the pivotal song of the whole EP. You begin to truly tap in and focus solely on worshipping God with fervor and passion. The song has simple lyrics yet it could hijack a service due to the fact that you will not want to let it go. Please add this song to your worship playlist.
