Rapper NF (Nathan Feuerstein), follows his 2019 album The Search with his first mixtape. NF released a mixtape indicating that he didn’t want to release a full-length album if he couldn’t tour behind it due to the pandemic. The project features guest artists Hopsin and Tech N9ne, and debuted at number one on the iTunes Top Albums chart. Musically, NF continues with transparent lyrics, simplistic string arrangements and classical music influences. As a Christian, NF continues to be a light and a leader in his craft in a genre where most of the music is marked “explicit”.

This is a slower and more serious track, with NF rapping over piano, strings, and a hand clap beat. He’s speaking to those who are alone, afraid, who fall and are not okay. The song has NF telling a story about Erin, hiding in a gas station, that is being robbed by her roommates' boyfriend.

This song is about being lost. A dark cloud is his residence. He is praying to the Lord. Demons are knocking at his door, but he doesn’t have to let them in.
