We've all heard the phrase, 'let your imagination run wild'...but what does that really mean? For singer-songwriter Bethany Dillon, it means striving to be innovative and imaginative. Her second studio release, Imagination, is an invitation to explore new ideas and to look at life with a fresh perspective. Including the singles, "All That I Can Do," "Hallelujah," and "New," Imagination contains poignant lyrics, innovative song-writing and welcomes repeated listening beyond the radio singles. Bethany explains, "My desire is that Imagination would be a story of hope--one that paints a brutally and beautifully honest picture of what it really means to live by faith.

Sophomore Slump.| Posted November 17, 2008
Sorry Beth, but I have to say this is a sophomore slump compared to your debut. The album is way too ballad-heavy, and there's nothing wrong with ballads, it's just the ballads just don't have that "wow factor". The only songs I liked were "Dreamer", "Hallelujah", "All That I Can Do", "New" and "Vagabond". All the others just get lost in my mind.

I love this cd. I would buy every cd from Bethany Dillon! Dreamer is my favorite song on this cd. Bethany has the prettiest voice!I would recommend this cd to anyone!
Deep...| Posted April 18, 2008
What I love about Bethany's music is that she goes to the heart. She's not afraid of showing what she's struggling with, or whatever's on her mind. And it's deep!
Great album for a great woman of God!| Posted September 22, 2007
I can honestly say that this cd spent months in my car cd player. While "Dreamer" was a great tune, it was nothing compared to the next track (one of my alltime Bethany favorites) "Hallelujah". While I must admit that the chorus is very simple, it really works. This song makes me just lift my hands up and praise Jesus! I really love this song. "All That I Can Do" is a little more upbeat. The opening line is a little strange, but I love the overall message of the song. "Airplane" used to be one of my least favorites, but it has started to grow on me. "I Believe in You" reminds me of my husband and his dedication to our marriage. "The Way I See You" is another favorite. "Be Near Me" is a song I listen to when I feel like everything is falling apart around me. The title track and last song of the album is a little too slow for me. I don't really listen to that one too much.
Beth's voice really shines through on this album, and overall, I was really impressed. A great 2nd album.

I liked Beth's debut album the best. it had more upbeat and catchy songs. This album was a bit too slow for me. I like the songs Airplane, Vagabond, and Dreamer the best. I do like this album though. except for a few of the slower songs.
