Known for their live atmosphere-shifting style, VIVE Worship encapsulates the power of corporate worship in this breakthrough album filled with a brand new sound and audacious lyrics. The 10-track album will challenge the expectation of what worship music should sound like - a symphonic journey from track to track; it's the sound of revival.
The album features worship leader and recording artist Joe Pringle (C3LA) on the single, "This is the Gospel," and saxophonist Jesse Molloy (Panic! At the Disco) on the single "Wild" and the title track "YES and AMEN." Rob Ellmore, who also produced this album, is featured on "Nothing Less."
The music of "YES, and AMEN" exposes the strength of the band to stay steadfast to the mission God's given them no matter the changing times. "This album is a resilient response to the fear and confusion that the global pandemic has produced in so many. It's a bold reminder that the promises of God are 'yes and amen' no matter the circumstances of life. It also serves to refresh our perspective on the power of God as partners in the purpose in Christ," says Adam Smallcombe (songwriter and producer).

High Energy and Bold Faith| Posted July 21, 2021 What You Need to Know Vive Worship is the worship ministry of Vive Church in San Francisco, CA. They are a collective of worshippers with a mission to, in their own words, release "songs that are bold in declaration of Jesus." A strong follow-up to the band's 2019 album, Resonance, their latest album Yes and Amen accomplishes that very goal.
What It Sounds Like
The Vive Worship sound is a combination of Pop-rock and Gospel that still keeps the feel of Sunday morning congregational worship. It's evident that these songs were written to help people engage in worship; they make it easy to sing along and enter into praise. The lyrics are anthemic, the melodic hooks are catchy and the drums keep the energy level high.
Spiritual/Lyrical Highlights
One of the strengths of Yes and Amen is that every song is so packed with Biblical truth and bold declarations of faith. "Chasing After You" is a perfect example of the kind of wholehearted, faith-filled prayers you hear on this album. So won't You guide me in Your grace/Can You shape all my desires, take them all and lift them higher/So I'll be walking in Your ways/Gonna shake it off and wake up/Won't stop, I'm only chasing after You
Best Song On The Record
"All Ways All Good" wins for best song on the record. The title is a clever play on words and the song captures a timeless truth in a fresh way. God is always good, works all things out for our good, and is worthy to be praised for His goodness. It has one of the stronger melodic and lyrical hooks on the album as well, making it even easier to catch on and sing along to right away.
Final Word Yes and Amen is a versatile and engaging project that will draw you to participate in the worship, not simply listen. You'll sing, clap, and dance along as God's truth fills your heart.
