Poetic Descent's reimagined version of Martyrs was produced by Jake Bryant (formerly of Dangerkids and Cinema Century) who has mixed and mastered the band's last three singles. Martyrs is a very aggressive song that emotionally conveys the torture that martyrs of the Christian faith endure. It is a rollercoaster of riffage and vocal mayhem. Rightfully so, this will even tend to make one uncomfortable and question our humanity. With riffs inspired by metalcore giants Demon Hunter and Killswitch Engage, this song provides the perfect blend of dissonance and melody.
