Some of David's favorite classic rock hits with faith-based lyrics. Fanny Crosby, one of the most prolific hymn writers in history often used secular music re-cast with faith based lyrics to communicate the gospel. William Booth, founder of Salvation Army, used the same idea to develop common ground based on familiar music.
"Classic Rock Praise" was recorded during the pandemic in which Turning Point Studios was shut down. In order to complete the album, David performed all of the vocals and instruments on several of the songs.
