Sarah Kelly's music is the stuff that defines artistry. It turns heads, lights up audiences, and makes record label executives swoon. And while it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is about this dynamic talent that captivates people -- her gutsy, honest vocal delivery or her deeply expressive music -- there's no question she has made her artistic mark in a very big way.

Great Female Singer with Vocals| Posted September 03, 2009
Sarah Kelly's vocals are amazing. She has a distinct voice and she is a girl that can sing! I think that is what enabled her to get so many people helping her with this album. In a way she reminds me of Tori Amos but it is just not the hair. If you like female vocals you will fall in love with this album. There is a reason she was nominated for a grammy.
I confess I knew little of Sarah Kelly's music beyond the Radio hit Take Me Away when I picked this album up on the Discount Table at a CBD Warehouse Sale. When I put the Disc into my CD Player I was blown away, to use a cliche.
Not your typical christian pop princess here, former Schoolteacher Kelly dares the band to try to drown her out. They Can't. Her vocals soar above the rock of Still Breathing and Out of Reach and yet she can still carry off beautiful ballads like Remember me well and Fall into you.
Most impressive to me, however is the "guest stars" she pulled in. Any Christian Musician can get Toby Mac or Audio Adrenaline to help. How many can say they had Slash on their Christian Album. Oh, and it is a Christian Album, buy the way. Despite the Naysayers who post on iTunes that this album isn't "Christian enough", I say listen to the album. There is no doubt who is the central focus of this album. To borrow a title from Rebecca St. James, It's God.
I waited until album two to become a Sarah Kelly Fan, and I can hardly wait for whats next.
