This is my favorite song from my Beautiful and Terrible project. But the truth is, I very nearly didn't even record it ...
I was worried that no one else would "get it" ... that the lyric was too personal and that most people wouldn't relate to what I was feeling.
Instead, I've found that this song resonates with a lot of people; it's the one that I am asked about all the time. Everyone seems to know what it feels like to live in that limbo space between God's promises and the fulfillment of those promises.
And I gotta say, the Kevin Waller EDM remix (and video) are so much fun. And so unlike anything I usually do.
