Iris to Iris [edit]
by Building 429 | Genre: Pop/Rock | Release Date: May 01, 2007

Dove award-winning Building 429 returns with a brand new album full of their familiar style of introspective, worshipful lyrics and anthemic pop/rock songs that made Glory Defined a #1 hit. New songs born out of intimate times of prayer, like "You Carried Me," "Majesty" and "Power Of Your Name," are bound to find a place in modern worship settings as well as the hearts of Building 429 fans everywhere.

"Iris To Iris, the new Building 429 album is not one good song or two good songs, but 11 great compositions that make a thoroughly satisfying listening experience. These guys have stepped up to the plate with a wonderful record and a major shift towards accessibility and ministry in the direction of their music. It is my hope and belief that this album, Iris To Iris, will put Building 429 in the consciousness of a much broader audience, primarily because of the quality of the songs, and accessibility of the music. I am not trying to hype this, I just believe in these guys and this project. It has blessed me, and I hope it blesses you." -- Brown Bannister, Producer

Awesome! | Posted August 22, 2007
Building 429 first and second album were good, but this one is my favorite. I think they really stepped it up on this one and took the time and effort to make a really good album. My favorite song is New Season and some other good songs are You Carried Me and Majesty. This is my favorite Building 429 album.

building 429 never ceases to amaze with thought captivating lyrics and musical arrangements that keep you moving in your car to wherever your going. Iris to Iris is quite possibly the bands' best musical effort. With the success of the groups previous cd's with such hits as "the space in between us" and "fearless", the band has stepped up their song writing capabilities which makes for a great album. The album begins with the song "power of your name" which brings the listener into a rock inspired anthom of praise and adoration to the only name that has any power. Other gems on the album are the current radio single " you carried me",as well as "waiting to shine" and "new season", all of which are outstanding in lyrical content and arrangement. The cd ends with a bonus track called "grace that is greater" and it is definately a bonus, the song is a departure from the rest of the album in style but is no less a great end to the cd. I would recommend this cd be apart of any christian music fans collection!

Ok | Posted July 25, 2007
This CD doesn't seem as good as some of their older stuff. The best song I think is "Majesty"

What? | Posted July 25, 2007
When I heard their first album I was blown away and loved it but this album leaves something to be desired maybe after I hear it more and more I might like it but who knows I did not like it the first few times I tried to listen to it.

i believe that b429's music is going downhill. their first album was amazing. then it was followed by an ok Rise. and now this. they just went for a completely different sound and its not as good.

Must hear | Posted July 11, 2007
If you're already a fan of Building 429, you have to give this a listen to. If you not you have to give this a listen to.
As with their previous cds, pretty much every song could find Contemporary Christian radio sucess.
The lyrics are definatley from God, every song touches a different spiritual emotion or subject. Especialy like Majesty and New Season.
