This one is his first, but its got none of the makings of a blah rookie album. Its still great and a pretty good listen to. Its well worth the buy and a pretty good album.

Matthew West is a really good singer!!!!!!! One of my favorite songs of his is 'The Motions'. The song lyrics really show that he really is a Christian and that his songs are sung for God. Actually, all his song's are like that. His heart is definitely in the right place!!!

this is definitely not my favorite cd of his. I like all of his newer stuff better. I have heard and listened to all his songs, and i have to say i prefer his new cds better

Just by reading the lyrics only, I can see most of the songs appear to be about love. I wonder what they sound like. His writing has changed since this CD, in my opinion. I like the cover art, too.
