Painting the Invisible [edit]
by Vicky Beeching | Genre: Praise & Worship | Release Date: April 03, 2007

"Painting the Invisible." That's the title of Vicky Beeching's recently released sophomore project. In her new CD, Vicky strives to give God all the glory He deserves. But, with limited minds and language, such an effort is just like the title, "Painting the Invisible." Musically, it is upbeat and likely to get you on your feet. Vicky throws in more variety from her previous release, "Yesterday, Today, and Forever."

The album starts with the radio single "Join the Song." An adaptation of the traditional doxology, it's a call for everyone to join in worship. The album continues with some great worship songs. Track five on the record is a powerful modern-day hymn called "The Wonder of The Cross."

Also on the album is a song co-written by label-mate Matthew West, "Everyone Under the Sun." A song of praise similar to "Call to Worship" from her debut.

But, the touching song to make you cry is "Everlasting Arms," a song reminding us we can run into our Heavenly Father's open arms. They are everlasting.

Vicky wraps up the powerful project with "Twenty-Six Summers," sharing her personal story of walking with God and the faith we have for the future.

"Painting the Invisible" is not a CD to be listened two once or twice and put in the closet. It's a soundtrack for our journey with the King of the universe.

Amazing Album of Worship! | Posted August 29, 2008
Vicky Beeching caught my ear a few years ago when I heard her distinct vocals & vertical worship lyrics on Above All Else and Yesterday, Today & Forever from The Journey EP and Worship Together collections. I loved her first major label release, especially Captivated but she really blew me away with Painting The Invisible.

The opening single Join The Song is a joyful, modern version of the ancient liturgy known as "The Doxology." Every song is catchy and biblical including Hallelujah What A Savior, Everlasting Arms and the autobiographical Twenty-Six Summers. Two amazing worship songs really stand out to me especially, Great Is Your Glory based on John 1:14 and The Wonder Of The Cross based on Hebrews 9:28. In both songs, Vicky brings you right there with her in worship of our Savior as she reflects on the sacrifice, grace, wonder and glory of the cross.

Worshipfully Wondrous | Posted June 12, 2008
This best offering so far from Vicky Beeching definitely hits some high spots as far as anointed and relevant worship goes. A modern pop rock mix adds to overall package. Stand out tracks are Great Is your Glory and the astounding Wonder of the Cross with it's timeless hymnlike quality. Destined to be a modern worship classic.

Vicky's second release, Painting the Invisible, is a very positive, upbeat collection of uplifting worship songs. I was a fan of Vicky the first time I heard her and this new album does not disappoint. On a few tracks she rocks out a little more on this album than her previous one, but the lyrics are just as thought-provoking and worshipful!

Great CD | Posted July 07, 2007
I love this new album from Vicky Beeching. While it's different from her first one and maybe not quite as good, it's still awesome. I love the song "Everlasting Arms." It's such a song of hope for the down times. And I love her personal song "Twenty-six Summers." It's a song about trusting God through our whole lives.
