"God Over All," a song by John Gooch, is a declaration of God's constant presence. The lyrics to this song came from personal struggles, such as being a single parent and having a disabled child. The song brings your heart closer to God and remind you that He is loving and caring.
The words remind you of those times when you've seen God's power at work in your own life. No doubt that life has already thrown you a few curveballs, but can you remember the low points? "In the valley You were with me all the way," Gooch sings. This is your story, too, not just Gooch's.
It's clear what the song is about when the chorus comes in: "God over all." Nothing can shake His love, and He keeps His promises.
