This is the first a several new songs for Disciple's upcoming Skeleton Psalms (Deluxe Edition) I’ve always loved the verse John 6:68 where after hearing Jesus say some very difficult things, a lot of people began to get discouraged and leave him. Jesus looked at his disciples and said “Are you also going to leave?” But Peter says “Lord to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life. We believe, and we know know you are the Holy One of God.” As followers of Jesus, this verse is a great “North Star” for us…. that even when things are difficult, or the words of Jesus are difficult, we will trust and follow. For He has the words that give eternal life.
