Founder of the California-based worship leader training initiative Psalmist Mission, as well as an acclaimed singer/songwriter, pastor and worship leader in his own right, Jon Shabaglian returns with the timely new single "Adonai."
"Adonai" showcases Shabaglian's impassioned lead vocals backed by a choir of Psalmist Mission graduates. The stirring recording offers a potent reminder of God's ever-present help in times of trouble, and Shabaglian hopes the message of "Adonai" can become a vehicle for deliverance and unity around the world.
"The song was initially birthed in response to a friend who was hurting," he explains of "Adonai." "My co-writers and I were compelled to create a song that could be a tool for the Body of Christ—a song for Believers to sing and pray over their friends and loved ones who need deliverance. The verses are rooted in Deuteronomy 7, telling of God's faithfulness to His people, and the chorus and bridge proclaim the freedom we have in Jesus."
