There is no way around heartbreak in this life. Whether it be from someone directly hurting you or indirectly falling between the cracks of expectations, one thing is for sure - if you have a heart, it will break at some point. Jesus isn’t looking for us to be perfect. In Psalm 51:11 it says, “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, God, You will not despise.” I’ve learned in this life anytime my heart breaks, it can become a place for Jesus to make a home in me.
