Picking Up The Pieces (Enhanced, Original recording remastered)| Posted November 01, 2011
This release struck me as a very raw and gritty high-energy release from Seventh Day Slumber. A re-release of the bands 2003 album, It transitioned from the bands first two releases that had a stronger acoustic element and instead comes out of the gate with a very strong edge that it retains throughout. The songs are very catchy and very well done, with many of the songs repeated from the bands earlier releases, but re-done in a hard rock style. This re-release features the 10 tracks from the first release but also includes 6 additional tracks, making it a better purchase due to the additional content.
