The group's new 15-track CD, I'll Say Yes, is the 26th album in a recording history that stretches back to 1981 and in addition to its six Grammy® Awards, includes seven Dove Awards with over four million albums sold. The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir is under the leadership of founder and director Carol Cymbala, wife of the church's pastor, Jim Cymbala, and daughter of church founder, the late Rev. Clair Hutchins. Mrs. Cymbala is also the producer and director of the newest Brooklyn Tabernacle release.

Harmonic Worship Among Friends| Posted February 12, 2008
I love how this CD starts off. The worship leader gives a speaking introduction that puts you in the mindset to lift your hands and to raise your eyes toward God in worship. Then starts one of my favorite praise songs, Holy is the Lord. You can just imagine yourself standing in a room full of people, all who have come together to worship our Savior in harmony. The first two songs are just so upbeat that I found myself moving to the music and even clapping as I sang out loud.
The third track, Hallelujah You're Worthy will surprise you! It starts off so slowly and then quickly goes into the most fast-paced song on the CD thus far. The same line is repeated in the song several times, which makes it an incredibly easy song to sing to, whether you've heard it before or not.
The fourth song I Never Lost My Praise, starts off as a beautiful solo that reminds you there is always hope. You can relate to her as she talks about pain and loneliness, but she always had Jesus. Then she talks about straying away and losing so much and yet Jesus was still there for her. It's a message that we all need to be reminded of. No matter what, Jesus is always there.
I really believe that the best way to enjoy this CD is to call together a couple of your friends, print out the lyrics, then sing and dance along! It will definitely be fun to try and sing the foreign lyrics contained in the song We Fill the Sanctuary!
And if you are singing with your friends, you may want to just sway arm-in-arm as you sing along to the songs The Lord Thy God and I Adore You.
Wow. I thought that the spoken introduction in the beginning of the CD was powerful, but the words spoken at the beginning and in the middle of the song I'll Say Yes are even more inspiring. The same lyrics are repeated over and over in this song too, and I love it! It's a great commitment song. It is truly a song of rededication of your life to the Lord. Yes, let His will be done!!!
Spirit Fall Down is another solo-driven song. I found myself just swaying along and repeating her words during the chorus part. I felt that together with the choir, I was calling upon the Holy Spirit of God.
During the song I Need You Once Again, I got quiet and listened as the soloist sang out her testimony during the verses. Just like in the last song, I only sung along during the chorus. It just seemed more fitting that way. And what I was singing was so true. I really do need You, Lord. Now and always.
I really enjoyed singing along to the fast-paced song Hallelujah to the King. Then came Bless Your Name Forevermore, which is such a serene, beautiful song. At least it starts out that way! And then the chorus jumps in and creates such a powerful sound!
And thus the CD now ends with the song Worthy Is the Lamb, which is a very fitting song to put the finishing touch on this worship experience.
