Something besides coffee has been brewing at the Starbucks in Mesquite, TX. The Afters started as four guys working at a Starbucks who discovered they had the same vision - a Christian rock band that promoted the carefree splendor of living a life continually focused on God. For The Afters, "I Wish We All Could Win" is about living for God outside of the confines of the church in a way that is compelling and contemplative.
With musical tastes from bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, U2 and even at times The Beatles, The Afters present a unique musical flare that's familiar in influence yet unique in presentation.

Okay, when I heard The After's debut album, I liked it. But after awhile, the songs all started sounding the same. So, if I may be perfectly honest, I don't like it. I mean, I REALLY don't like it. Their first single, 'Beautiful Love' had potential, I'll admit, but something didn't click, maybe it was the vocals are lyrics, but it didn't work for me. 'All That I Am' has great lyrics, but the sound is just boring. The whole album for me was very tiresome. But that's just me, I know a lot of people who really liked it and so might you. Just be careful and that's all I'll ever ask of you.

I wish I would have heard of them a couple years ago. I LOVE their sound. It is so reminiscent of the music I listened to when I was 20. :)They must really rock live.

A decent CD. It's pretty much your average light rock worship CD. Some of the songs are easily forgotten, but they've got a few songs that stand, out, like Someday and All That I Am. i really like the lyrics in most of their songs because they're really powerful. I aklso like how they switch the lead vocalist throughout the CD.

This is an amazing band with an amazing talent. And they truly care about their fans. They did an awesome job on this album. My very favorite song is "The Way You Are".It's just a catchy song that you can dance to, and it's praising God at the same time. It's amazing.

I Wish We All Could Win is one of the best debut albums to hit Christian rock in the best five years. The whole album is a solid, catchy pop/rock album. The lyrics are deep. The melodies are catchy. I've had these songs in my head since I first bought this album a year ago. I can't stop listening to it! The Afters are also a great bunch of Christian guys who care about their fans and make great role models for young people. I definitely recommend you buy this album and go see The Afters is concert someday! You will not be disappointed!!!
