Power pop-punk band Stellar Kart began in a Phoenix-based youth group as a worship band.
The band's affinity for the youth setting is easily heard in "Gone Fishin'" and "Student Driver." Songs written on location, they're full of catchy music with simple messages that are easily understood.

I love this CD. Some of the lyrics are a bit repetitive (Life is Good anyone?) But overall I like it. It's kinda eye-catching too. Like how many people sit in the grocery part of the cart? with a wheel? Adults, or almost adults...hardly fit.....

This is a wonderful cd for people who love contemperary christian music. There are some great songs including "life is good" and "Finish Last"

I love stellar Kart... their CD is Great for younger listeners.... Cathcy enough to keep their attention and make them tap their feet, and yet the messages arent so complex that they go right over young listeners heads. Very Good

I like this CD a lot. Personally, I do like We Can't Stand Sitting Down better, but this one is very close. If you like Relient K, Switchfoot, or Hawk Nelson you will like Stellar Kart, and this CD.
Good First CD| Posted July 10, 2007
Stellar Karts first release, All Gas. No Brake.. is a solid first release for the band, but they still have a lot of room to grow. The first song on the CD, Student Driver, is a strong song with lyrics like, "I'm just a student driver
And I need Your help to guide me
Cause on my own I'm nothing." There are some very good worship songs on the album such as "Finish Last." Two problems that this album has is (one) its length (the entire CD is just over 30 minutes long), and some of the lyrics are cheesy and seem like they should be vacation bible school songs. Overall this is a good record and a great addition to any punk rock or worship music fan's collection.
