I HEART HILLSONG | Posted September 24, 2008
The band has been around since the turn of the millennium, but it’s only been in the past few years that Hillsong United has unequivocally exploded in popularity. This has posed a serious quandary for the thousands of cash-starved youth stateside and abroad that go crazy at the group’s stadium-sized worship gatherings: Which album is the one to get?

The I Heart Revolution solves that. The two-disc set is a true-to-form representation of what one encounters in the thick of a sweaty, hand-raising mosh pit at a United show: a can’t-sit-still, nonstop hit parade encompassing all the highlights from the group’s breakout albums Look to You, United We Stand and All of the Above.

The results are electric—heart-pounding even—stripped of nearly all the post-production gloss that’s commonplace in today’s live offerings. The raw, almost bootleg sound quality makes for a rough listening session in spots, but there are so many huge moments of unabashed praise, one is willing to overlook the coarseness.

But then again, consider the logistics: United captured every song on location at different stops in the band’s worldwide travels, from New Jersey all the way to London, Cape Town and Buenos Aires. It all makes The I Heart Revolution one terrific, post-concert keepsake, as well as a faithful documentation of the group’s heartfelt journey to change the world one worshipper at a time. --Andree Farias

You really should buy the eighth live album The I Heart Revolution by Hillsong UNITED. These worshippers will make you praise with their songs. And you really need to listen to their music. Let's adore Him!

One of the best | Posted August 08, 2013
This is one of my favourite albums. It is a collection of all the best Hillsong United songs - a great album for those who don't know Hillsong United. Another of United's well recorded live albums. Again, a good mix of worship and praise songs. There will be a song for everyone on this two-disk album.

Legendary Album | Posted July 27, 2013
Although some people might think of this album as a waste of time, I rather enjoy it because all the songs they chose to sing on this album have had such a huge impact not only in the Christian youth today, but also in the Christian church.

Awesome collection | Posted August 24, 2009
If you have absolutely no Hillsong CDs, start with this one. The songs are beautiful and range from alive and fast to slow and meditative. I love "Hosanna" and "Mighty To Save"!

They Haven't Changed Much! | Posted May 14, 2009
With this project, Hillsong United hasn't deviated much from their usual formula of taking church worship songs and giving them a rock edge. The I Heart Revolution: With Hearts As One is a bit of a mixed bag, with some very satisfying songs and some not-so-exciting recordings. Actually, it's on the more energetic tracks that they shine, with the band doing full justice to the potential of the songs. When it rolls around to the quieter tracks, however, it's a bit reminiscent of any given Hillsong Live album.

This album, the songs have been recorded from many of the different countries where they have performed, making this the major differentiating factor from their other releases. Only one of those songs is actually new-"You'll Come"-making this a global re-recording of relatively well-known Hillsong anthems; some of these are quite good, with the enthusiasm that United are well-known for clearly evident in these recordings, as well as the crowd's excitement. A major downer, though, is that most of the album's tracks just sound like the usual contemporary Christian worship music. Another problem is that you sometimes can't hear the lyrics over the sound of the crowd, it does admittedly make for a more accurate representation of their concerts.

Granted, there are some excellent tracks on this album, but if you already own one of their previous live projects, or their studio record All of the Above, then there is probably no need to purchase With Hearts As One. Still, Hillsong United does put in a solid performance for their louder songs, which is only accentuated by the fervour of the crowd; in the end, this may be the project's saving grace.

Great modern worship music. | Posted October 27, 2008
I got this CD because it had all the great songs that Hillsong United has wrote and played. It is cool to see the different places they played these songs. I've seen the DVD that just came out and it is really good. Check it out.

Hillsong United: I Heart Revolution: With Hearts As One | Posted June 17, 2008

With this project, Hillsong United hasn't deviated much from their usual formula of taking church worship songs and giving them a rock edge. Of course, that's what they excel at.

New for United, The I Heart Revolution: With Hearts As One is a two-disc project, with thirty tracks in total. Interestingly, the songs have been recorded from many of the different countries where they have performed, making this the major differentiating factor from their other releases. Only one of those songs is actually new-"You'll Come"-making this a global re-recording of relatively well-known Hillsong anthems; some of these are quite good, with the enthusiasm that United are well-known for clearly evident in these recordings, as well as the crowd's excitement. A major downer, though, is that most of the album's tracks just sound like the usual contemporary Christian worship music, with very little standing out. Another problem is that you sometimes can't hear the lyrics over the sound of the crowd, which pretty much nullifies the use of this record for something like worship band practice. Of course, with the crowd being mixed in louder than usual, it does admittedly make for a more accurate representation of their concerts, and in its own way is stimulating (albeit forced), though it's a poor substitute for actually being there.

Best Of Live | Posted May 27, 2008
You might as well call this a greatest hits album, except almost all of the tracks are live from different locations around the world. If you're into modern worship, this is a must-have.
