Cries Of The Past is the second album written and performed by the band Underoath. The album was released on July 4, 2000 through Takehold Records. Only 2,000 copies of the album were pressed, and it is currently out of print. The second and third song are out of order from the list on the jacket, with "Giving Up Hurts The Most" as the actual second track.

I like Underoaths old stuff alot but could like finding it. And if you do it aint cheap(nothing less than 40 bucks).It's still good though, sorta like a death metal kinda of vibe goin on. I think dallas from maylene was the lead singer....anyways, definitely worth a listen.

This is my favorite underoath album. The music isn't generic and typical like a lot of the new stuff "underoath" plays now, the lyrics are straight forward, and the vocals are rougher.

i love underoath, alwaysalwaysalways. they're great. i haven't heard much from this album, but what i have heard has been super sweet. i can't wait to download it for reals. [:

I didn't really like it all that much. Their other stuff is better. But it's a rare CD, so if you can get it, I would.
