After the release of their debut album in 2005, Stellar Kart had three singles at the top of the radio charts and played over 200 dates, touring with bands like Kutless, BarlowGirl, Falling Up, and Pillar. All their hard work led to Dove Award nominations for 2006's New Artist Of The Year and Rock Album Of The Year, and being voted Best New Artist Of The Year by readers of Campus Life's Ignite Your Faith magazine. They were also the best-selling new artist of 2005 at Christian retail.
Stellar Kart's sophomore release, We Can't Stand Sitting Down, was also a hit with youth group kids and fans of Relient K and Hawk Nelson, with stand out tracks like "Me And Jesus" and "Hold On."

Bad Punk Rock| Posted July 30, 2007
"Me And Jesus" is the best track on the album, with great lyrics, and the passion behind the song. Bad thing is the rest of the album falls into it's own formula, and one that you tire of VERY fast. Stop after five tracks, you've heard the basic sound. Creatively is badly needed on this album, change up the formula. The next album should be a complete departure from their first two albums, do hard rock, or no rock. Do something different. This isn't a sophomore slump, because their first album wasn't much better.
Their Back!!| Posted August 09, 2013
Stellar Kart is good at Pop/Punk/Rock and this album is no exception. One of thier best Cd's with a hit single, good lyrics, awesome music videos, and a very funny cover for four grown men. But hey let's have fun and live for Jesus!
If I could give ten more stars I would| Posted January 17, 2011
This is one of my favorite albums fist of all, second I think that "Me and Jesus", is one of the best songs ever. Every time that I am down I can listen to the song and know that I am not alone. This song lets me know that Jesus would walk with me anywhere so that I am not alone! :) Best song ever!

these guys are great, their unique punk rock sound soars to new heights on this album. "Activate" is a fun, upbeat song, great for dancing to. "Me and Jesus" is another hit from these boys, great lyrics and great music.
Not too bad for free...| Posted February 09, 2010
My favourie tracks are:
#1 "Me And Jesus"
#2 "Hold On"
#3 "Wishes and Dreams"
#4 "Finding Out"
#5 "I Wanna Live"
#6 "Angels In Chorus"
The six tracks I mentionned are excellent, but the other six could use some work. The "blank" track is pointless, but the second of version of "Hold On" is pretty nice.
I would buy the tracks I mentionned as downloads, but as for the rest of the CD, it's not worth listening.

You Will Never Be Alone| Posted November 06, 2008
Though perhaps not the most original band, there's something about Stellar Kart that has led me to purchase all three of their CDs. WE CAN'T STAND SITTING DOWN is probably my favorite of the three. It's like a shot of adrenaline...in music form.
Upbeat punk-pop songs fill the album and though the sound can be repetitive, they throw in a few slower songs that showcase deeper lyrics. And it all flows well together.
"Me and Jesus" is one of my favorites: it's sung so earnestly and is such an encouraging song that reassures listeners that "someone loves you, even when you don't think so. Don't you know? You've got me and Jesus...you will never be alone." It's a great song to listen to when you feel like giving up hope.
"Activate" was another stand-out. "Life is easy when you're sitting in the shade," says the first verse, but it goes on and the singer realizes that "this is the purpose of my life, this is the reason I'm alive, we don't have time to wait...activate!" I love waking up to this song in the morning.
Overall, Stellar Kart has put out a sophomore release that is better than their debut. And with that bright pink cover, who isn't going to notice it?
CHECK IT OUT:
02. Activate
03. Me and Jesus
11. I Wanna Live
12. Angels In Chorus
