The strength of most bands is found in their ability to do one thing well. Mono Vs. Stereo's, Chasing Victory, has found a divided strength on Fiends, the follow-up to 2006's, I Call This Abandonment. The dichotomy of hard-edged guitars and brute vocals is seamlessly balanced by the soaring melodies of this 5-piece band from Georgia. Drawing musical comparisons to Underoath, Deftones and My Chemical Romance, combined with a touring schedule second-to-none, the band takes their sound to a whole new level on this sophomore album.

Good CD| Posted June 08, 2008
Good hard rock. Has good lyrics and nice instrumentals. Each song is different which is good. That is hard to come by these days. Fast beat Good if you like fast music but it does have some slow parts.
Punk I Like| Posted April 09, 2008
I usually have a bad taste in my mouth after listening to punk music but Chasing Victory leaves me wanting more. while Wolves is a great song in many ways, my favorite has to be Janice due to its catchy chorus.
Great!!| Posted August 21, 2007
Chasing Victory's is not exactly as emo as there last CD but more towards hard rock in my opinion. This CD is really good nevertheless. Every song is different. From Chemicals to wolves, carnies to barbarians, this CD isn't exactly a masterpiece but close to it
