Long before High School Musical and Disney-mania were sweeping the airwaves, Jump5 was making its debut album. Now, nine years later, the group is calling it quits, ending an illustrious career spanning nearly half its young members' lives. Hello & Goodbye features the perky quartet at its peak.
Although it's a farewell album, these teens take the high road, cranking out a stellar set of fresh material (and a Spanish-influenced "Throw Your Hands Up" remix) sure to please even mainstream critics. Both "Fly" and "Shoot the Moon" feature the slick instrumentation and tight harmonies that shot the group to the top of the charts at the forefront of its career. Former member Libby Hodges even joins the band on the cover of the Beatles classic "Hello and Goodbye" (the most risky track), which succeeds by banking on a funky retro guitar sound. "You" is musically smart, though it doesn't stray far from the feel-good lyrics of past albums. Although "I Surrender All" is the sole worship ballad, it artfully contrasts the album's techno beats with a simple, chorded piano background. Overall, Jump5 offers a grown-up version of "tween" pop, leaving its teen audience singing along...and maybe their parents, too.

The Last Album fron J5| Posted July 30, 2013
What Can I say....... This album was soo good! Jump5 did such an amazing on Hello & Goodbye! It is SO sad to see them go, they were and still are my favorite band! My favorite song on this album would have to either be Shoot the Moon or I Surrender All! :) Thanks for all the great years J5! Still everyone go get this album even though they are disbanded!! :)
Jump5 Hello & Goodbye| Posted January 14, 2013 Hello & Goodbye. Jump5's album Hello & Goodbye was Jump5's last full length studio album. For this album they had redone some of their songs like "Throw Your Hands Up" it's like an acousitc remix but the words are changed for this remix for one last time to throw your hands up. Other than Throw Your Hands Up, there are 5 Original Written Jump5 Songs. And then there is a Beatles, Hit Remade, "Hello Goodbye," which former band mate Libby Hodges Come back to sing the song along with them all to say Goodbye. And then there is a remade Jump5 Style Worship Song "I Surrender All." And then to end off the album Jump5 Sings the "Star Spangled Banner" Since this was the very last Album From Jump5 I have to say it's very sad, but it was for them to grow more for them in the Music industry and it was time for them to say goodbye as a group and start other projects.

I have to agree this isn't Jump5's best album even if it was their last. I did enjoy some of the songs, but I think Shoot the moon could have been left out and the remix of Fly. I think they should have put their both to blame single on their album probably in the replacment of the fly remix.
They could have used Chris in more of their songs or at least give him some more lines to sing.
But in over all it was a good album and I do like how they incliding Libby into their Hello and Goodbye song.
