Pretty Satisfying!| Posted August 20, 2008
This is indeed pretty satisfying. I have been listening to the free weeklong preview (great thing that by the way!!) while working & I am liking this a lot. It's really got a good old rock feel to it, similar in some ways to the Black Crows or even Tesla. Very well played, tight arrangements, good grooves & strong vocals with a bit of a gritty feel occasionally. I have never heard a Christian band play this way & it is refreshing to me. This is the type of rock I grew up with! So far so good. I am looking forward to buying this one & seeing how it does on repeat!
DecemberRadio rocks again| Posted August 19, 2008
after two listens on NRT the new DecemberRadio lives up to their first CD. Fans of classic 80's rock like Guardian will love this stuff. Gritty vocals, guitar solo's, this CD has it all!
DecembeRadio, Satisfied| Posted August 19, 2008
Just when you thought DecembeRadio's first installment and self titled album would be a tough one to beat, out comes "Satisfied". If these records are samples of what the band can deliver, look out world, the Rock is coming to get you!
The 1st track on the record, Better Man, opens with amazing guitar riffs, thundering drums and Bass as it can only be delivered by Josh Reedy himself. This song is a throwdown of 2 things and it has both, the music and the message.
The 2nd track, Satisfy Me, ain't no dudd, but has a captivating arrangement of the best rock that will keep you tapping and clapping. This song sets the mood for a good time. When the song is done, you still want more. I believe that is exactly what the message of song reveals, only God can satisfy our souls, we are hungry and thirsty for more.
The 3rd Track, Believer, reminds me that this is what I am and this is what I've got because of it. A powerful message delivered with brazing rock. Amazing how they accomplish both, which makes the message even more clear.
Track 4, For Your Glory, with all the I am and all that do, the Lord some how uses it, for his glory.
Track 5, Gasoline, you won't need any after listening to this one! Gasoline packs a high energy compalation of all they've got. This is definitely the action song of the album and alone should carry it's own weight in gold, easily. You'll just have to hear this one. If you like it loud, this song is just for you.
Track 6, Falling for You
Review to be continued, it is bedtime. GODnite all!
More Rock Please| Posted August 19, 2008
DecembeRadio is definitely a talented band, but it's disappointing that they had less rock on this album than the last. The album definitely opens with a bang, but ends with a whimper. One can definitely think that slower is more thoughtful, but you can rock and be thoughtful at the same time as well. The rockers on this album are outstanding, but the ballads (especially the amount) bring the album down.

Some of the songs on this Cd are a little too hard for me. But I think it is awesome that there is this kind of Christian music to reach people who are into the harder rock style music. God will use it all for His Glory.
