Pillar's third release, Where Do We Go from Here?, is by far, their most melodic record yet. You could sense it a bit on Fireproof, but it is in full force this time around. So much more emotion was poured into this release. At times, it almost seems louder and more aggressive than Fireproof, and it probably is. However, the melodic overlay of the entire record keeps it from seeming hardcore in any sense. Comparisons to other rock/rap bands will still be inevitable, but Pillar's trademark sound should be enough to silence opposition.
Of course, Pillar's third release, Where Do We Go from Here?, is not referring to where they should take their musical direction next. Rather, it speaks of the state of the American church. Pillar has always been very bold lyrically, never straying from in-your-face lyrics that demand change for the better. Expect no different here.

This album blew me away. I fell in love with the heavy rock of these guys as soon as i heard this album. It was my first Pillar album.
Rewind is a really good lyrical song but the heavy songs will just blow you away. A definate yes from me.

when i first got this album, it sat on my cd player for about a month, on repeat. The good thing about this album, is that every song is different, and you never do get tired of what each song has to say. What i find so fantastic about pillar is that their lyrics are meaningful, unlike other bands who jsut put lyrics together to fit into the music, pillar's lyrics actually mean something. Combine good, meaningful lyrics with great music and talented musicians... you have a fantastic band!

It's been a while since I bought this CD but it still makes it's appearance every once and a while. My favorite track changed just about every week.
"Simply" and "Rewind" are slow-rock songs with powerful lyrics. "Bring Me Down" "Hypnotize" and "Frontline" are the hit songs. Pillar definitely did not disappoint their fans with this album.
